Get to know the story behind ProCakes.
The inspiration for ProCakes came about last year when I was training for my first fitness competition. I learned so much about diet and nutrition and how important it is to keep a healthy balance of protein, fat and carbohydrates in order to keep blood sugar levels consistent, fuel workouts and just avoid feeling hungry and deprived all the time.
One of my coaches turned me on to protein pancakes, and I was hooked from the first batch. After 14 months of recipe development focusing on using high quality ingredients like coconut and almond flour along with a good protein base, I created a great tasting pancake that wouldn’t leave me hungry an hour later.
ProCakes is a great way to start your day with a good balance of nutrients that will sustain and energize without the sugar high. It’s also ideal for endurance and strength athletes who are looking to fuel workouts without taking in a lot of empty calories.
