When was the last time you had a bunch of friends over for brunch? Dinner parties can be so much work and when people start to linger past your bedtime, it can be a bit much.
But brunch is different. It’s less effort, less time, and once its over, you’ve still got the rest of the day to yourself.
I also think there’s something special about fun brunch tablescapes, mimosas and fresh flowers.
I recently hosted a brunch and made a waffle bar with ProCakes as the centerpiece protein item. Our guests loved the idea of dress-your-own and we had the chance to profile some new flavors for our protein pancake mix. My waffle bar wasn’t as cute as the one above, but next time it will be 🙂
Need some menu inspiration for a healthy, gluten free and low carb brunch? This is what we did…
High Protein Brunch Menu
A platter of fresh berries
Plain greek yogurt fused with vanilla extract and stevia
A gorgeous bowl of cooled range-free hard boiled eggs (brown and white)
ProCakes Banana bread with Sugar Free Raspberry Compote
An assortment of homemade nut butters and Nikki’s Coconut Butter
Pumpkin Spice ProCakes protein pancakes
ProCakes Protein Waffles (with an assortment of toppings as a ‘bar”)

Have fun with this idea, especially over the holidays when we all need a break from heavier foods. This would also make a fantastic Thanksgiving or Christmas brunch!
