What’s In It

ProCakes has been blended to provide the best combination great taste and quality nutrition.

ProCakes is made with a great balance of nutrient dense ingredients like whey protein, organic coconut flour and almond flour and blended with a lighter gluten-free baking flour. We’re not fans of sugar (in any form, organic or otherwise) around here, so we chose to sweeten ProCakes with xylitol, a naturally occurring sweetener derived from tree bark. It doesn’t behave like sugar (or sugar substitutes) in that the body slowly absorbs and metabolizes xylitol, so there’s negligible spikes to insulin and it doesn’t raise in blood sugar levels.

Ingredients:

Whey protein concentrate (whey protein, soy lecithin), organic coconut flour, gluten free baking flour (garbanzo bean flour, potato starch, tapioca flour, white sorghum flour, fava bean flour), xylitol, almond flour, baking powder (Sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate), cinnamon, xanthum gum, sea salt.

How To Use It

ProCakes is more than just a pancake & waffle mix! You can make everything from high protein banana bread to gluten free, low carb cupcakes. Check out all our recipes here.
  • Mix together one egg and a 1/3 cup of milk (you may need a wee bit more if you’re using non-dairy milk).
  • Add 1/2 cup of the mixture and stir well.
  • If you let it sit too long before popping it in the pan, the batter might start to thicken so just add more milk or water.
  • Three big dollops of mix in a greased skillet over low to medium heat tends to work best.
  • But don’t over flip!! Step away from that spatula!
